Truth Arcade school in a non-accredited one room model Christian centered private school. Children will be able to learn at their own pace following individualized learning plans. Classroom instruction will take place at an academic level and not at a grade level. In addition to core subject such as Bible study, reading, writing, cursive penmanship, social studies, science, and arithmetic, children will be able to participate in activities such as basics of preparing their own snacks and desserts, yarn arts such as crochet and knitting, arts and crafts, music, dramatic play, puppeteering, creative video games, and other creative activities. We will have quarterly field trips to places of interest.
Our school year runs year round with 3 week breaks between quarters. Each week is 5 days and runs from 7am to 5pm with core hours between 8am and 3pm.View our 2021/2022 school calendar.
We offer instruction to children age 4-14 equivalent to Kindergarten through 8th grade. Highschoolers will be considered on a case by case basis.
Snacks will be included with tuition. Lunches will be available for $2.50 daily. Monthly meal calendar will be available before our program begins.
Classroom instruction will be teacher led based on a childs academic level and not grade level. Too often children are stalled or left behind because schools teach for the average child. In our program children will be able to advance at their own pace minimizing frustration in advancing too fast or not being able to advance at the pace they need to.
We are still working out the logistics of the curriculum. Currently we are leaning towards Christian centered curriculums Lifepac and Horizons by Alpha Omega Publication. We are also considering Abeka. Parent input will be considered.
Each student will be evaluated quarterly for adjustments to course work. The logistics still need to be worked out but we will not be using the standardized test the public schools use.
Camp is optional for enrolled children at the same cost of weekly school tuition. Camps will also be available to non-enrolled children for a weekly fee. View our 2021/2022 school calendar.
We believe vitamin D, exercise, dirt, and a connection to nature are important for a healthy child. At this time we are still looking for a location that will allow us to spend as much time in the outdoors as possible. We are currently looking at a few locations with 3 parks within walking distance. While this is not the perfect situation we hope in the future as we grow we can build in a location with plenty of nature.
Our mission is to provide a Christian education alternative to public and private schools that is flexible, convenient, independent and at a price point that makes it accessible to working families.
Our vision is to be the school known for teaching children how to teach and how to learn and respect their older peers. We want to be known as the school that teaches the Christian origins of liberty that formed the foundation of this country, and that teaches children the rule of law as God intended. We want to be known as the school that teaches that "loving one's neighbor" isn't a sentimental catch phrase but a real value that promotes justice, truth, and charity in the community.
Tuition can be paid monthly, quarterly, or yearly(5% discount). Each additional child will receive a 10% discount off of full tuition. There will be an initial $150 enrollment fee. Tuition Assistance
The cost will be $120 per week for children enrolled in our school and $140 for children not enrolled. This tuition will include the cost of fieldtrips and other activities. Snacks will still be provided.
The daily rate is availabe for school hours between 7am and 5pm. Space share is available for pod students as well as homeschool students. Parents are welcome to stay with their children.
